How can we help?
Short answers on finding a home, booking a visit, running a tenancy and getting repairs done. Still stuck? The team replies within one working day.
Finding a home
How do I search for a home?
Start at Rent. Filter by city, budget, home type (independent home, room or PG bed), BHK and furnishing. The map shows where the homes sit, and every result links to the full listing.
What does the Verified tag mean?
An owner account was checked before the listing went live. Unverified listings are new and still under review, so read the photos and ask questions before you visit.
Can I share a listing?
Yes. Open a listing and use Copy link to send it on WhatsApp or anywhere else. The link opens the same listing for anyone.
Why do some listings show a date?
That is the earliest date the unit is free. It helps you plan a move instead of calling about a home that is still occupied.
Visits and messages
How do I book a visit?
Open the listing, send a message and add a preferred visit date. The owner sees the request in their workspace and confirms a slot or suggests another one.
Do I need an account to contact an owner?
Yes. Sign in first, so the owner knows who is asking and you can keep the whole conversation in one place under Messages.
How quickly do owners reply?
Most owners reply the same day. If a request sits for two days, send a message from the same listing and we nudge the owner.
Tenancy, rent and deposits
How is rent paid?
You and the owner agree the method (UPI or bank transfer). Either side then records the payment on the tenancy, and the ledger shows what is paid and what is still due.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes. Every recorded payment adds a row to the rent statement, and you can download the statement as a PDF from the tenancy or the renter home.
What if I pay part of the rent?
Record the amount you paid. The ledger keeps the balance due, so nobody has to remember it later.
Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit and its refund terms are between you and the owner, and both are written on the tenancy at the start. frntal keeps the record; it does not hold the money.
Repairs and complaints
How do I raise a repair?
Open your tenancy and choose Raise a complaint. Describe the problem and pick a priority. The owner sees it with the full history of the tenancy.
What do the priorities mean?
Low is cosmetic, normal is a fix that can wait a few days, and urgent is water, power or safety. The priority stays on the complaint, so the owner sees it first.
Can I see what happened to an old complaint?
Yes. Resolved complaints stay on the tenancy with the owner's note and the date, so the record is complete.
For owners
How do I list a property?
Sign in, open your portfolio and choose Add property. Add the address, the first unit, the rent and the photos. frntal publishes the listing at once.
Can I list a PG or a single room?
Yes. Choose PG bed or Room while adding the property. Each unit carries its own rent, deposit and listing, so add the other beds or rooms the same way.
How do I add a renter?
Open the property, pick a vacant unit and invite the renter by email. They get a branded email, sign in, and the ledger starts on the day the tenancy begins.
Who can see my listing?
Everyone, until you pause it. Use the listing switch on the property page to hide a unit from search without deleting the record.
Account, privacy and safety
I forgot my password
Go to Sign in, choose Forgot password and enter your email. The reset link arrives in a few minutes and works once, for one hour.
How do I report a fake listing?
Send the listing link through Contact. We review reports within 24 hours and remove listings that do not check out.
How do I delete my account?
Write to our support inbox from your registered email and we remove the account and its data, except records we must keep for tax and legal reasons.
Is my data safe?
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and never reach frntal. Sessions run on signed, http-only cookies, and access to a tenancy is limited to the owner, the renter and staff.
